Abstract
Turns out, there is gold behind the cloud glitter, because meaningfully leveraging the cloud means opening new user experiences for the users of your apps. This could not be truer for Windows 8 Store apps. Alive and connected, always on and inviting—if these are attributes that you want the user to use to describe your Windows 8 app, falling back on a cloud infrastructure can be a valuable tool.
