Abstract

In recent years, extensive studies of the Jaynes-Cummings (SC) model and its variations have provided many examples capturing quantum features of photon-atom interaction in a cavity [1]. An important situation of interest is the case where the cavity is leaky. At times long comparing with the relaxation times, the atom settles in its ground state and photons leave the cavity. The transmitted photons carry information about the intra-cavity photon-atom dynamics. In order to study the nonclassical properties of the field in detail, it is crucial to obtain the state vector of the system explicitly.
