Abstract

This chapter very briefly introduces the JavaBeans/ActiveX bridge. This is provided as many developers of JavaBeans will want to be able to make their beans available to Microsoft-based applications. In general these applications can only exploit software components which following the ActiveX model. This bridge allows beans to be used in place of standard ActiveX components.
