  • Chapter
Measurements in Pediatric Radiology

Abstract

Radiographic evaluation of the nasopharynx is essential for decision of adenoidectomy or tonsillectomy. Several methods for such evaluation have been proposed. The present method is easy to adapt and reliably describes not only the size of the adenoid, but also the patency of the nasopharyngeal airway.
