Abstract
A Fortran program is a collection of program units. It consists of one main program and any number of modules, external subprograms, and block data program units. Each of these program units is a sequence of program lines consisting of Fortran statements, INCLUDE lines, and/or comments. The characters in these program lines form lexical tokens. The following rules govern the form of the program lines in a program unit.
