Phlebology ’95

Abstract

Regardless of whether saphenectomy or only phlebectomy is performed, surgery is the best method to eliminate varicose veins, in long term follow up[l,2,3]. Having this in mind, the routine at our institution is to operate every varicose vein, and sclerotherapy is performed only for minimal veins or telangiectasis.
