Abstract

The term ‘crooked nose’ refers to a range of deformities, not a single one. Therefore, it must not be assumed that correction can be undertaken using one surgical technique that can be universally applied. Careful assessment and analysis is of fundamental importance in order to understand the patient’s deformity. It is important to recognise that the twisted nose is often a complex deformity involving multiple components. These are discussed. Some of the more common surgical techniques to correct this deformity are also described.
