Abstract
If you have used any kind of library, then you are already familiar with the concept of a filing system. A library offers you books kept on shelves, together with a directory that you can use to locate a particular book. In a library, the directory is called a card catalogue. Usually placed in an open area that is easy to find, the card catalogue gives you the location of each book in the library, together with brief information about the book.
