Abstract
To date, the HLA class I alloantigenic determinants have been defined by classic serology. Methods such as one dimensional isoelectric focusing (1D-IEF) were used predominantly for the biochemical definition of these antigens from B-lymphoblastoid cell lines (B-LCL) by immunoprecipitation with respective monoclonal anti bodies (1). The data defined HLA-A,B products by comparative analyses. Non-A and non-B locus products have not yet been identified by gel electrophoresis.
