Abstract

In the mid-1970s three groups of pathologists described a lymphomalike disorder associated with systemic symptoms and immunologic abnormalities. Frizzera18 et al. termed the disorder angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy (AILD), Lukes and Tindle33 immunoblastic lymphadenopathy and Radaszkiewicz and Lennert46 lymphogranulomatosis X.
