Abstract
To fully understand processing of information in the cerebellum it will be necessary to know much more than we now do about the spatial and temporal patterns of projections of the several different sensory and central circuits which converge upon the enormous population of granule cells in cerebellar cortex. One of our long term goals at Wisconsin is to map spatial patterns of somatosensory projections to cerebellar cortex in a select variety of mammals in search of general principles of patterns of organization.
