Abstract

There are too many refugees without any exact figure of the global refugee population. The United Nations High Commission for Refugees recent estimate relates to the need for half a billion dollars to provide assistance to refugees in 60 countries. A significant number of refugees are experiencing considerable emotional distress in making adjustment to their new life in another country.
