Abstract

In the general area of electron transfer reactions between two metal complexes, several important review articles have appeared. These include a reexamination of the [Co(III)/(II)(NH3)6]3+/2+ self-exchange reaction(1) and, of more biological interest, a summary of electron transfer reactions of iron-sulfur proteins(2) in Advances in Inorganic and Bioinorganic Mechanisms, as well as a volume of Progress in Inorganic Chemistry in appreciation of Henry Taube, including relevant articles by Creutz,(3) Endicott et al.,(4) Haim,(5) Meyer,(6) and Sutin.(7) Further articles appear in an ACS Symposium Series.(8) More theoretical aspects are treated in a Faraday Discussion (9) and a review by Sutin.(10)
