Abstract

Among diagnostic and treatment methods which are becoming more numerous every year in geriatric clinics, the use of psychodynamic know-how, i. e. psychoanalysis, in the investigation and therapy of mental troubles remains unusual. This is in contrast with the almost exclusive use that one makes of it in adult and child psychiatry.
