The Influence of Wind in the Remote Sensing of Chlorophyll in the Sea

  • Chapter
Oceanography from Space

Part of the book series: Marine Science ((MR,volume 13))

Abstract

The atmospheric corrections applied to remotely sensed radiances in order to retrieve water quality parameters (such as chlorophyll and seston concentration) include those related to the effect of wind on the water surface, namely sun glitter and foam reflection.
