Abstract
Approximately 30 distinct perturbations of potential, current, and charge have been used in the study of electrode processes. However, no more than 10 to 12 techniques have been widely used, partly because of the difficulty in solving the differential equations relating the response to time for many of the methods proposed. A few of the more popular techniques are described schematically in Table 2.1.
