Abstract

There is evidence that T-lymphocytes are not directly involved in the anti-LPS humoral immune response (1, 2, 3,) However it has been shown that LPS has some biological effects on T-cell functions both in vitro (4, 5) and in vivo (6–10). The demonstration that LPS influences some T-cell functions requires further investigation.
