Abstract
Illustrations on obtaining the proton-density image, \(T_{2}\) (using both cartesian and polar scanning) and the \(T_{1}\) MRI images using Matlab are described in this chapter. The steps involved in capturing the MRI image is demonstrated considering, \(11\times 11\) sized matrix as the image slice. The main objective of this chapter is to give the feel on the procedure involved in obtaining the MRI image. The illustrations in this chapter assume the availability of the identical transverse components at every pixels of the selected image slice.
