Abstract

Individuals with vocal tremor complain of rhythmic fluctuations in vocal loudness and pitch that give the impression of a tremulous voice. Severe vocal tremor can cause rhythmic vocal breaks during attempts at sustained phonation, usually associated with significant speech impairment.
