Abstract
“This chapter discusses sources of systematic error in our modeling approach and reviews the spin constraints that have been reported in 22 SMBH systems to date. The spin distribution seen in this small sample of AGN is used to draw inferences and to make projections about the relative role of accretion vs. mergers in nearby AGN systems.”
