Abstract

Part 3 of this book discussed the architectural view of e-business management, which could be defined as strategies for managing processes, managing transactions, and managing infrastructures. Part 4, containing Chapters 7 and 8, discusses the technological viewpoint of e-business infrastructure management. We discuss the technologies used by e-business infrastructure management to facilitate the interoperability of heterogeneous management elements. The question is why this heterogeneity?
