Abstract
Thank you, my dear President, for this welcome and bravo to ENA and to the School of Public and Environmental Affairs of Indiana University. I think that these contacts are useful. I think that it is in many ways more necessary than ever to develop exchanges between Europe and the U.S., to develop these exchanges at the level of the elites who do not always understand each other and who, I believe, need to explore their reciprocal thoughts.
