Abstract
Optical spectroscopy is a continuously developing field which provides new practical methods for the remote sensing of different natural and artificially ionized entities. This book presents a detailed description of a new spectropolarimetric method of sensing based on the phenomenon of the polarization of ensembles of atomic particles resulting from collisional processes in a diluted ionized media.
