Abstract
There are several ways to generate models from measurements. for medium frequency applications, direct measurement of the inductance and capacitance with an LCZ meter can be used. This is only applicable where the lead length is not significant compared to signal wavelength (or critical harmonics). This would probably be limited to a few hundred MHz for a larger quad package or 800 MHz for smaller SO-style packages. This is only an approximation and depends on the application needs and package geometry.
