Abstract

The tf and access routines discussed in the last two chapters are the basic building blocks for writing useful user applications in PLI1.0. In this chapter, we are going to create a number of such applications. Our primary goal will be to examine how to approach a solution, rather than covering all possible corner cases of the problems. These applications are chosen from different aspects of hardware designs and a few from software domains. Also, the applications have been chosen such that, with a few modifications, each of them can be transformed into many other similar applications. Some of them are left as exercise to the reader in the Self check sections.
