Abstract
The hypodynamic form of septic shock is a disease with a high grade of mortality. It is characterized by severe disturbances of hemodynamics, pulmonary gas exchange and metabolism. Additionally, severe disturbances of microcirculation and a distinct cellular hypoxia are assumed (Lasch, 1979).
