Dilution Device for Atomic Absorption Analysis

  • Chapter
Spectroscopic Tricks

Abstract

One of the advantages of atomic absorption analysis is the very high sensitivity of this technique. However, this sensitivity is not always desirable since time is required to dilute samples too concentrated to be measured. Dilution is also required for solutions of high salt content to prevent burner clogging.
