Aspects of the Dynamics of Electrons in Mixed Valence Systems

  • Chapter
Moment Formation In Solids

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSB,volume 117))

Abstract

These lectures will be concerned with dynamical properties of electrons in rare earth mixed valence systems. Emphasis will be put on properties which are specific to the mixed valence state. We will be primarily aiming at discovering features of mixed valence systems which are basically different from what we know of conventional solids.
