Abstract
Diseases involving the joints and connective tissue comprise one of the most prevalent categories of patient care provided by family physicians. This chapter discusses the core problems of rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, gout, fibrositis/ myositis, and arthralgia. Additionally, other problems such as connective tissue disorders, crystalline, seronegative and infectious arthritides, vascular syndromes involving joints, and others are discussed.
