Abstract

The global airline industry provides air transport services for traveling passengers and freight to every corner of the world, and it has been an essential part of the formation of a global economy. The airline industry is a fast growing and dynamic sector. The International Air Transport Associations (IATA) forecasts that the global net profit to rise to $38.4 billion in 2018.1 The airline industry is achieving sustainable profitability levels and 2018 is expected to be the fourth consecutive year of sustainable profits. According to IATA, in 2016 the aircraft carries nearly 3.8 billion passengers and expects 7.2 billion passengers to travel in 2035.2 Boeing and Airbus are considered the world’s biggest aircraft manufacturer.
