Abstract

There is no panacea for perceptuo-motor difficulties; they are complex and varying in nature. No programme designed to remediate perceptuo-motor problems has been proved to be a permanent ‘cure’ for them. Until such a programme is available there will be children who will need help to overcome or circumvent their difficulties. Explanation and discussion will help the child concerned and provide insight into specific difficulties which will enable parents, teachers and others involved with the child to understand and offer constructive help.

Boys and girls come out to play, The moon doth shine as bright as day. Leave your supper and leave your sleep, And join your playfellows in the street. English nursery rhyme
