Abstract

If you have never had a massage you perhaps have no business reading this book. Over the course of the last 250 pages or so, I have attempted to write an intellectually rigorous overview of massage and aromatherapy. I have made copious reference to the scientific literature and used standard techniques of analysis and argument to explore claims made by practitioners.
