Abstract

Following the discussion of assessment issues in adolescence, this chapter describes and distinguishes between two types of psychological tests used for assessing the personality functioning of adolescents: self-report inventories and performance-based measures. Based on empirical evidence the discussion in this chapter supports clinicians’ reports that the Rorschach has been the most widely used personality assessment instrument by psychologists working with adolescents.
