Abstract
The Oxford Symposium on marihuana was held under the aegis of the 9th International Meeting of IUPHAR on July 24–26, 1984. It assembled over 120 scientists and physicians from the United Kingdom, United States, France, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, and Australia who presented 85 papers on chemistry, analysis, cellular properties, endocrine and developmental aspects, neurochemistry and neurophysiology, adverse reactions, and clinical and therapeutic aspects of marihuana (1).
