Laparoscopy assisted ileocystoplasty is a hybrid of an open and a laparoscopic approach, and it facilitates reducing the operating time by about 1 hour. The supraumbilical port can be extended to about 3 cm to bring out the distal ileum for isolation and restoring ileoileal continuity.
