Abstract

The rapid diffusion of laparoscopic surgery in all ambits of general surgery has also involved, during the past few years, the surgical treatment of the abdominal wall, and particular, the repair of post-operative ventral hernias, which just until a short time ago; seemed to be an exclusive pertinence of open surgery.
