Résumé

Les tumeurs de l’intestin grêle représentent environ 5% des tumeurs du tube digestif. Il s’agit donc d’une pathologie assez rare; le radiologiste doit bien la connaître car le transit baryté joue un rôle capital dans son diagnostic. La fréquence relative des différentes tumeurs varie selon les statistiques et selon que l’on exclut (ce qui est notre cas), ou non, les tumeurs duodenales. Les tumeurs malignes semblent plus fréquentes que les tumeurs bénignes, mais nombre de celles-ci, asymptomatiques, sont méconnues et constituent des découvertes d’autopsie. Les tumeurs conjonctives représentent plus des 2/3 des tumeurs bénignes, les tumeurs carcinoïdes et les lymphomes près de 2/3 des tumeurs malignes.
