Abstract

Patients with distal CTEPH remain among the most challenging to manage. This case illustrates the importance of screening all pulmonary hypertensive patients for CTEPH, and the value of correctly identifying patients with distal vessel chronic thromboembolic disease where a cure with thromboendarterectomy is feasible.
