Abstract

In this chapter, porous geological formations are analysed, taking into accout their complicated mineral composition, structure, texture and saturation with media of differentiated features, as the basis for various physical interactions in a medium that is heterogeneous from physical view point. Also, geological medium models used in laboratory investigations and methods of modeling artificial rock samples and boreholes are considered.
