Correlation between Aerobiological and Phytogeographical Investigations in the Florence Area

Abstract

We present the preliminary data of our research whose principal aims were: a)to check the correlation between aerobiological and phytogeographical data in our area; b)to clarify certain discordances,for example between the presence of some plants and the absence of their pollen at the trapping; c)to know for each taxon: 1)presence and abundance in the area; 2)flowering period (by phenological checking) especially for those families for which it is impossible to differentiate genera and/or species by optical microscope; d)finally,to select the allergen panel for testing in our area.
