Abstract
The book provides guidance to see the hidden power of interactions and creativity of participation through technologies to construct a healthier life by and for people. The introduction chapter discusses the importance of health prevention and offers tools to guide personalized health services to promote healthier life, and optimize health management through awareness, motivation and engagement. The initial part gives information about the context of the book outlining the importance of chronic disease prevention and its burden on healthcare system. To ease this problem, the following lines discuss the importance user involvement in their own health and influence on their networks through motivation, awareness, and behavior change. The preventive solution underlines the significance of focusing not only on biological aspects but also on socio-psychological environment of the patient to develop a healthier lifestyle.
