Abstract
Little research has yet been reported on the use of international consulting services for export development in less developed markets. In this paper, a profile of export consultants working in this field is presented, and the special problems associated with exporting from LDCs are discussed. Then a case study is presented, showing how a tripartite export venture was organized to break into the North American market. The three parties included Moroccan entrepreneurs, the Irish Export Board, and the Moroccan Export Promotion Center.
