Abstract
The following is a list of the most commonly used mediations for pediatric endocrinology. It is incumbent upon the prescriber to check for allergies, contraindications, side effects, and safety in pregnancy. Also note that many of the medications are used in clinical studies and presented in publications dealing with children without FDA approval: they are presented here for information but the prescriber must take the age of the patient into consideration and understand that many medications below are used “off-label” and precautions and consent of parents are incumbent on the treating physician.
