Abstract

This paper aims to present the synthesis of a data channel decoder for data transmission channels without interference or with insignificant disturbances and the study of its operation using a software specialized in the study and testing of the digital electronic circuits, Electronic Workbench. This paper also represents a follow-up of a previous paper which studied and tested the functionality of a data channel decoder without interference, with the help of the same software. The diagrams, relations and simulations presented here may underlie a successful creation of a laboratory model with teaching purpose, but also to a detailed study of the phenomena that occur in the data channel without interference or with insignificant disturbances. We can draw many conclusions on the optimal data coding-decoding in such data channels, as well as on the data transmission speed, the data channel capacity, the efficient “filling up” of the data channel, etc.
