Abstract

This paper deals with the components of information activity of students majoring in pedagogics and their correlation to the future profession. The author suggests structuring the disciplines in computer science, information and communication technologies for students specializing in pedagogical education. In accordance with the current state of higher education in the Russian Federation, there are two levels of bachelor and master’s programs. The author offers a set of disciplines, each containing from 2 to 4 modules, for both levels. A module has an invariant and variable part and includes theoretical questions, practical assignments, laboratory exercises, requirements for independent work, presentations and measuring materials. The article also contains proficiency measurement of students in computer science and ICT due to the modular presentation of the academic programs.
