Abstract

This chapter reviews the concept of POCUS (point-of-care ultrasound) and how it differs from traditional ultrasound use in the USA. It discusses how to integrate this technology into the daily care of patients. We discuss how disruptive technology can have a positive impact on both provider and patient satisfaction.
