Abstract

The term “supraventricular tachycardia” refers to arrhythmias requiring atrial or atrioventricular nodal tissue, or both, for their initiation and maintenance. Supraventricular tachycardias are often recurrent, occasionally persistent, and a frequent cause of visits to emergency departments (ED) [1].
