Abstract

Linear Algebra is prominent everywhere in our every day life. In this chapter we illustrate this fact using five different applications: The PageRank algorithm for ranking the importance of documents, no claims discounting schemes of car insurances, production planning in a plant, future profit estimation of companies, and circuit simulation.
