Abstract

In this chapter, we provided an overview of flipped learning and its four pillars that can be used in the digital workplace learning. Flipped learning holds a huge promise to professional development and workplace trainings where online learning is feasible. This chapter also provides brief information about digital workplace learning design and flipped learning. It is briefly explained as an instructional design model that might theoretically help corporations/institutions to design their workplace learning strategies in a better and more effective way. ADDIE-based flipped learning supported by digital workplace learning aims to provide achievable learning by flexible, easy to access training without any kind of restriction on time or location. In this paper, a two-part learning process is presented. The first part is about designing the environment part, which can be done wherever desired. It is also suggested that Internet-supported flipped learning might fit corporations to organize their business schedules easier. The second part is workplace, where the actual practice happens to prove during the training what is learned before.
