Abstract

This chapter presents the analysis of the structural condition and stability of the Medieval Armenian Church in Famagusta. The chapter includes photographic survey, visual inspection, non-destructive testing, and advanced computational analyses. The structural performance of the Church was analyzed by means of a numerical model, which helped simulating both gravity and seismic loadings. The results of these analyses served to justify the old and current damage of the Church, as well as to discuss about its safety.
